We introduced “More” small business accounting software to answer our clients’ requests for help with the bookkeeping. The most common complaint was that it was simply taking too long – taking time that they could be using to grow their business – and sometimes even with long hours worked the end result wasn’t accurate, and wasn’t providing any useful information. They’d tried well known computer packages but couldn’t even get started in many cases.
With “More” software, we don’t leave you to work things out for yourself. The software really is user friendly, with tutorials built in at every stage, but we find that most clients like to come in to the office and work through the system with their data. Once they’ve got a month or two entered, it’s much easier to continue on the right track. “More” will track your bank account, complete your VAT returns at the click of a button, and track who owes you money and who you owe money to. We’ll hold your hand to get you started and provide help at all stages.
It’s not for everybody, and if you need for powerful accounting features then a full accounting system would suit you better. For example, if you need stock control, accessing the nominal ledger, posting journals or accruals and prepayments.
You may wonder how it’s free and if there is a catch? Well, yes, it is free and yes, there is a catch. The catch is that you must use the software correctly, and keep it up to date. You must give us feedback – good or bad – about the software, and if you agree that it’s really useful, tell your friends in business.
